Hook: Partridge Single Wilson, Code 01.
Body: Black tying thread as a base for wing.
Wing: Grey squirrel tail, tied flat over the body, extending slightly beyond the bend. For a better floating fly.
Hackle: Four to six stiff yellow hackles. We suggest tying the hackles with the concave sides facing one another, the rear two or three facing forward and the front facing back.
Head: Black or red.
