Body: Natural or dyed deer body hair.

The construction of this fly involves spinning a "rear clump" of deer hair with the butt ends facing to the rear and a "front clump" with the butt facing forward. After this, the butts are trimmed close and both "spun clumps" pushed together towards the center of the hook shank.
