I seem to have this fly on all the time in the Fall on our Mad River here in Ohio. It works well as an olive dun, and I'll drop very small midges off it and use it as an indicator very often. It's quite visible and floats well. I had my best day fly fishing anywhere using this fly on point, with various midges dropped off and fished just under the surface. Sometimes they would take the parachute, sometimes the midge, but the important things was, they all took something, and they were all big.
